Running Group – A Success

Our first training session was held last Sunday morning and 10 Positive Fit members attended.

For those who may be concerned at their own fitness levels, we divided into 3 groups:

1. A group just starting their journey who combined running/walking with a personal training session with Ali

2. A group who ran quite comfortably for 40 mins

3. A fitter group who ran for 90 mins at a steady pace.

Please come along this Sunday at 8am – you can see there is a level for everyone

The City to Surf 2011 will provide you with the challenge you’re looking for.

Sunday 28th August 2011 will provide the answers you may be looking for with your training.  Choose from the 12k, Half Marathon 21k or Marathon 42k. Even if you just join in the training, you will be better than if you had not undertaken the running work.

Starting this Sunday 3rd April at 8am at Positive Fit, we will begin our preparation. Our group training will continue every Sunday from then on. No matter what level you are, you will be catered for.

Come along and take part, have a go, what do you have to lose – apart from unwanted fat?

The Sunday morning running group is free.

Specialised training programs will be available to members including interval and hill training. Also available will be extra sessions, on-on-one training and specialist consultations to discuss any problems. The standard Positive Fit PT charge will apply to these.

Please wear appropriate running gear, including a hat. A drink bottle helps your performance.
